SBachelani Six Shot System
The 6 shots in the 6 shot system are close up, extra close up, medium shot, over the shoulder, wide shot, and extra wide shot. Close up is when the camera is really close to the face; this is usually used as a reaction shot. Extra close up is used to to show what the person is doing in the shots. Medium shot is kind of giving the setting, but only shows the person above the hips. Over the shoulder is the camera position over the shoulder, showing what the person is dong. Wide shot gives more of the setting and background, but not the entire setting. Extra wide shot is giving the entire setting and the focus point isn't as important. I learned how to frame different types of shots to make the one action shorter than the actual time. What I'm going to do next time is make sure I get some better shots and make sure that there are things in the shot that don't need to be in the shot.
