It's Christmas Time!
Overview: This project was about Christmas and creating a website based on a specific topic involving Christmas. I chose to do Christmas Decorations, as I love everything about the decorations for Christmas. We had to include as responsive layout, our own pictures, and have a coordinated color palette that went with our theme. I had chosen a picture that had a gradient with sparkles and Christmas colors and went from there with creating my website.
Process and what I learned: The process first started with what I wanted to create. At first, I thought Christmas Traditions, however, I felt that was too vague and decided to be more specific, leading me to Christmas Decorations. I then needed to find a picture. I found the image that I wanted and then set as my background I then created my layout and the design portion of my website. After that, I added all the content and the links to the other websites that I used. After this. I added all the other little features that added pizzazz to my website. I learned about depth and adding that to my website, giving it more dimension and more complexity to my website. I did this through my background.
Same/Different: Differently, I would probably do more of a variety of fonts that all coordinated together. I feel as though my website had too many of the same font, or similar fonts all over the page. I would keep my background and design the same. I loved the color coordinated background and layout of the pages in my website.
Conclusion: This project was probably the best website I have created and it was the funnest to create out of all the other websites I have created for this class. Although there are some things that I would do differently, there are some factors of this website that I love too much to change. I hope we do more projects like this one in the near future.
